The OCCI’s Case Costing Methodology

The case costing methodology implemented by the participating hospitals is primarily based on the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) MIS Guidelines, and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care's Ontario Healthcare Reporting Standards (OHRS). The primary purpose of the case costing standards is to ensure comparability in the costing methodology across hospitals.
